Beech is a good choice for a light-coloured, durable wooden floor that acquires a warm, reddish golden tone with age. The structural grain pattern of beech is straight with a fine, even texture throughout.
Beech is renowned for its excellent strength and creates a durable, hardwearing floor with a classic look. As a hardwood timber, beech is recognised as being one of the strongest and most durable woods that can be utilised for wood flooring.
Our new line of beech flooring is already proving popular with 180 square metres being shipped for installation at Seaton.
Aspen and Ash recently took on a challenging teak floor renovation at Cubert, where there was a 10mm difference between the highs and the lows of the blocks. Using our specialist sanding equipment and a special finish, we were able to breathe life back into what was a rather tired-looking flooring.
