Aspen & Ash brings a slice of home-grown Cornish heritage for your floor, with beautiful Cornish oak.
Quality wooden flooring adds a timeless quality to any room hether contemporary or traditional, beautiful wooden flooring can transform a home, providing a sense of warmth and individuality from the textures and grain of the wood. This natural material can be contrasted against chic ultra modern furnishings or used to complement period features to great effect. Even better if you can secure beautiful wood from a local, sustainable source. The enterprising wooden flooring company Aspen & Ash has added to its superb range of wooden floors by securing close ties to the famous Tregothnan Estate in Truro enabling the company to procure the estate’s beautiful English Oak. Tregothnan, one of the largest estates in the UK, is renowned for its range of premium British grown teas. The oak which is superbly grained and many centuries old is coming to the end of its natural life and is set to be highly prized by both Cornish homeowners seeking some sustainable, home-grown and quintessentially Cornish heritage and further afield in London where interior designers have been wowed by its quality, style and provenance
To add to its sustainable credentials the oak is dried and the floors manufactured exclusively in Redruth meaning it can be offered for sale direct to the public, along with Aspen & Ash’s extensive range of new engineered flooring and heritage floors manufactured from old eclaimed timbers. A family-run business specialising in bespoke joinery and high-end kitchens, Peter Randles returned to his native Cornwall to establish Aspen & Ash and to cater for the rising popularity of wooden floors and the unbeatable warmth, character and value they add to interiors. Aspen & Ash will be at The Cornwall Home & Lifestyle Show on the 30th April and 1st May at the Royal Cornwall Showground, in Wadebridge.
